The Old Man's Trophy
Scrapbook

Welcome to my Trophy Room! As I stand here and look around at the Polar
Bear, Mountain Goat, King Salmon, Wolf, Buffalo, Musk Ox, and much, much
more I'm reminded that I've literally invested thousands of dollars in my
trophy's, and that's excluding the cost of the hunts. However, there's no greater
pleasure for me than giving folks who stop by the Homestead here at Clam
Gulch, Alaska, a tour of my Trophy Room.  The room is thermostatically
controlled to preserve the trophys. I hope to one day donate my collection to the
City of Soldotna to use as a museum for Alaskan's and tourists alike to enjoy. It
certainly has brought me a lot of pleasure over the years. I use every conceivable
part of the animals I hunt, and what I don't take for myself, I have always donated
the meat or hides to natives, or others in need, who reside in the area.

Come on, let's look around! First, I'd like to show you a trophy my late son,
'Ole' shot when he was but a young fella.
